Looking for affordable seasonal rentals in the Martha’s Vineyard Camp-Meeting
campground community?
The MVCMA has 3 units located in the "Tabernacle House" and available on a
weekly or monthly basis. The "Tabernacle House" is located near the
entrance to the Campground and is on Campground property. It is available to
rent from mid-May through mid-October.
The two (2) ground floor units (18 & 21) are both 1 bedroom efficiencies. Each
sleep four (4) persons. The third unit (23), accessible by a stairway, is on the
second floor. The unit has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sleeps 8-9 people.
All units have fully equipped kitchens (refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, coffee makers,
and most common dinnerware and utensils). Each unit also has cable TV,
unlimited local telephone service, and an outdoor gas grill located in a common
"Tabernacle House" picnic area. Trash service is
provided. There is designated parking for each rental unit.
Linen service is generally not available, although special arrangement for limited linen
service may be possible with adequate advance notice.
The "Tabernacle House" is located within walking distance to downtown Oak
Bluffs, Oak Bluffs harbor, the Steamship Authority ferry terminal, the harbor, shops,
groceries, beaches, and bus transportation around the entire Island. Renters
have full access to all MVCMA events, including community sings, concerts, and other
special events. Some events may involve an admittance fee.
Rental fees are dependent upon the season.

Each efficiency unit costs
$950 per week during the summer season, $800 in the shoulder season, and
$750 in May and October. The four bedroom in season rate is $2,000 per week,
$1,600 in June and September, and $1,300 in May and October. Rentals for
multiple weeks or the month may be available at discounted rates. Rental
rates are quite affordable relative to most Island hotels and boarding
houses
